Renewed calls for investigations into the abuses to American Indian children have brought new scrutiny to the boarding school system. This talk will examine the thinking behind the creation of federal schools for youth including Haskell Indian Nations University, originally known as the United States Indian Industrial Training School, and how this system affected Native communities in the short and long term. Munsee Language Classes

Learning another language can be a thrilling adventure, particularly when preserving a language at risk of disappearing.

To ensure everyone can absorb the material, we will adopt a thoughtful approach, teaching at a comfortable pace.

We will also utilize a PowerPoint presentation at our Language class, and for those interested, we can share a PDF copy via email.

Please let us know if you would like to receive a copy of our PowerPoint for each class.

Additionally, we will livestream each class on our private Facebook page, making it accessible for those who cannot join us in person.
